Professional registration is an internationally recognised standard that demonstrates engineering competence, gained through knowledge and on-the-job experience, to colleagues, employers and clients. Each year, we accept applications from engineers working in highways and transportation to become professionally recognised as Chartered Engineers (CEng), Incorporated Engineers (IEng) or Engineering Technicians (EngTech). We are proud to be licenced by the Engineering Council to assess the competence of CIHT members and would like to say a huge congratulations to the following individuals who are the latest to gain a professional registration qualification:

The Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification has been designed to provide professional recognition for transport planners in the same way that Chartered Engineer recognises the highest level of engineering competence. It is awarded by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and the Transport Planning Society (TPS). Candidates who have successfully completed the Transport Planning Professional (TPP) assessment can apply for Chartered status with the CIHT. Chartered TPP provides employers, their clients, and society with the confidence that professionally registered transport planners possess and maintain the knowledge, skills and commitment required to meet the transport planning needs of today and the future. We would like to say a huge congratulations to the following individuals who recently achieved CTPP registration.
